To Love our God

This is the most difficult thing to do for most people. How do you love a person you have never even seen? The ten commandments in the book of Exodus20:1-17 guide us on how to love our God. Loving God is all about living by the commandments set in this book. This book also tells us more about the nature of God. God is a jelous God, he does not want to share your heart with anyone else or anything. He wants you to love him with all of your heart.

To love our God doesnt come with no benefits. Verse six of the same book says that he shows mercy to thousands of those who love him and keep his commandments. To love our God with your whole heart does not come easily. It means that there are some things in this world you have to drop. Some people too have to be left behind in your quest of how to love our God.

Right now, you might be wanting to love our God but you do not know how. God will help you and give you the grace to do it. Just go before him in prayer with a sincere heart and just let him teach you how to love not only God but people too. God honours sincere prayers. It doesnt matter where you are now, as long as there is breath in you, there is still time to change. Make that prayer today and I promise you that your life will never be the same again.
